Celebrating 35 Years of Impact: Kelso Public Schools Foundation Continues to Empower Students and Educators

KELSO - For 35 years, the Kelso Public Schools Foundation (KPSEF) has stood as a pillar of support for local education, working hand-in-hand with the Kelso School District to ensure student success. As an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the foundation has dedicated decades to creating countless opportunities for students and staff through scholarships, classroom grants, and mentorship programs.  

A Legacy of Support and Achievement

Since its inception, the foundation’s commitment to educational excellence has yielded remarkable milestones across several key areas:

• $2.4 Million Awarded in Scholarships: Providing vital financial assistance to help Kelso graduates pursue higher education, career training, and their dreams for the future.  
• $300,000 Invested in Classroom Grants: Delivering direct resources into classrooms to foster innovative learning opportunities beyond the scope of traditional public funding.  
• 115 Mentees Guided Post-Graduation: Pairing graduates with dedicated adult mentors—comprising Kelso School District staff—to guide and support them during their transition to college.
